Palazzo Colonna

Located right in the heart of the capital, Palazzo Colonna has been the residence of the eponymous family for over eight centuries.

The Palace, among the largest and oldest private palaces in Rome, houses the Galleria Colonna, an authentic jewel of the Roman Baroque which houses artistic masterpieces by the greatest painters between the 15th and 16th centuries, including Annibale Carracci, Guido Reni, Tintoretto, Guercino and Veronese.

With its 76 meters of art, the Sala Grande is the most important and majestic space of the Gallery as well as one of the richest places in art and history in the center of Rome.

Palazzo Ruspoli

In the heart of the historic center of Rome, less than a minute’s walk from the Spanish Steps and between the luxury brands of Via Condotti and Via del Corso, stands the Residenza Ruspoli Bonaparte.

This historic 16th century palace, where the young Emperor Bonaparte resided together with his mother Ortensia of Beauharnais, Queen of Holland, is made up of four exclusive suites, positioned at the bottom of a splendid staircase, adorned with statues depicting important historical figures.

Palazzo della Cancelleria

Built starting around 1485 at the behest of Cardinal Raffaele Riario, the Palazzo della Cancelleria is not only one of the most beautiful buildings in the capital, but also the first entirely Renaissance palace in the city. Its majesty stands out over Corso Vittorio Emanuele II and the square of the same name, a stone’s throw from Campo de’ Fiori.

In addition to the Bramante courtyard, the Palazzo houses the Salone dei Cento Giorni frescoed by Vasari and the Aula Magna, or Sala Riaria, with frescoes from the 18th century and the famous painted clock by Baciccia.

The area has the greatest concentration of historic gardens in the world and is surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and Italy’s largest producers of hazel nuts. Castello Ruspoli continues to be the property of the Ruspoli family, an old and noble Italian family. It is well known for its Renaissance-era Giardino all’italiana.

A fortress that guards a family story through time; through the restoration and measures of preservation taken by the Ruspoli family, this masterpiece is known throughout the world, especially in Europe, as being one of the most unique gardens of the Renaissance period.

The majestic Odescalchi Castle, one of the most beautiful and imposing Renaissance mansions in Europe, lies a few kilometres north of Rome.

Opened to the public by the Livio IV Odescalchi Foundation, it was built in the 15th century, and combines the functions of a military defence structure and a civilian residence of the feudal lords of the period, the Orsini and Borgia, both papal families.

As one of the largest and best-maintained castles in Italy, it also houses a museum; as a centre of cultural events, the Castello has hosted several high-profile weddings such as the marriage of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

The estate of the Principi Chigi, immersed in the centuries-old pine forest of Castel Fusano, is a perfect combination of art, history and nature.

The seventeenth-century castle defined by Antonio Nibbi as “the enchanted palace in a desert region” stands on an area rich in Roman settlements and is told through an extraordinary cycle of paintings by the young Pietro da Cortona. The tiny chapel, a Baroque masterpiece and the spectacular gallery some geographical maps offer a representation of the world from mythical origins to episodes of Roman history, inserted in the cycle of seasons and elements.

Castel Fusano has always been a much loved estate by Family in ancient times as a hunting wildlife park today because far from the bustle of the city you arrive in a real paradise on earth.

Palazzo Ducale di Gallese

Located in the ancient Faliscan territory of upper Lazio, the ancient fortress of Gallese has been a coveted possession of the most important Roman noble families since the Middle Ages.

Renovated in the Renaissance by Pope Alexander VI, the castle then became the property of the Altemps family who transformed it into the current palace.The majestic entrance staircase designed by Vignola leads to the loggia and to the internal halls where a collection of priceless statues, plaster casts and ancient marbles is kept.

In the nineteenth century the palace passed into the hands of the Hardouin family of Gallese who still own it today.

Antonio Ziantoni

Antonio Ziantoni is one of the exponents of the new young Italian cuisine, with cultural foundations well rooted in the territory and international influences.

Antonio has recently been awarded the 2021 Michelin Young Chef Award for his restaurant, Zia, in Trastavere, Rome.

Lorenzo Iozzia

Born and raised in Sicily, Lorenzo Iozzia defines himself as “a Sicilian cook in Etruscan land”. A lover of the excellence of the raw material, he recalls tradition in his recipes, reworking it in a new personal light.

His restaurant, Casa Iozzìa, is a journey of flavors and memories, which from Lentini arrives in Tuscia through the Cimini woods. Many awards have been collected over the years, including those of TCI, Gambero Rosso and the prestigious Michelin Star Restaurant. in 2019.

Silvia Regi Baracchi

Silvia Regi Baracchi inherited from her family a deep passion for good food and a strong sensitivity for the traditions of the Etrurian region.

In 1989 she opened Il Falconiere, a Michelin-starred Restaurant, that together with the Relais is part of “Relais & Chateaux” family.

Marchesi Antinori

A story passed down through 26 generations. The Antinori family has been committed to the art of winemaking for over six centuries since 1385 when Giovanni di Piero Antinori became a member, of the “Arte Fiorentina dei Vinattieri”, the Florentine Winemakers’ Guild. All throughout its history, twenty-six generations long, the Antinori family has managed the business directly making innovative and sometimes bold decisions while upholding the utmost respect for traditions and the environment.

Castello ColleMassari

Wine has been produced in Montecucco since Etruscan times, a tradition carried on today by Maria Iris Bertarelli and Claudio Tipa, who in 1998 bought vineyards there to make them the heart of the estate they had in mind to create. ColleMassari produced its first vintage in 2000 and in 2014 the group was named Winery of the Year by the prestigious and renowned Gambero Rosso guide. The Castello ColleMassari winery is located in Cinigiano at the foot of Monte Amiata, about 320 meters above sea level.

Its owner, David Papi, wanted to continue the family traditions, enhancing his own vineyards of the historic farm. This is how the “Corte dei Papi” wines were born, whose labels are dedicated to the world of horses, a great passion that the Papi family has been cultivating for 8 generations.

Il Palagio

Proprietà e residenza del celebre cantante Sting e di sua moglie Trudie Styler, la Tenuta Il Palagio è fin dal 1500 una vera oasi di pace tra le dolci colline toscane del Chianti. Oltre alla Villa, La Tenuta ospita un’importante azienda agricola che insieme a prodotti come l’olio e il miele, continua la tradizione plurisecolare della viticoltura. Dal 2000 sono stati reimpiantati 11 ettari di vigneti che seguono i metodi dell’agricoltura biologica e che danno origine a vini pregiati i cui nomi si ispirano all’universo rock dell’artista inglese.

San Filippo Montalcino

Located in the Tuscan territory of Montalcino, San Filippo Montalcino is one of the most prestigious wineries for the production of Tuscan red wines. Thanks to its four vineyards (La Storta, Le Raffiche, Le Lucére and La Smarrita) and to 1000 m2 of modern and functional cellars, San Filippo Montalcino rose to the top of the most prestigious worldwide ranking with the 3rd place and 97 points of Wine Spectator’s “Top 100 Wines of the World” of 2020. On the podium the Brunello di Montalcino Le Lucére 2015.

The Baracchi Winery, located in the rolling hills of Cortona, under a shining Tuscan sun, has been producing wine for 5 generations, since 1860. Riccardo Baracchi wanted to combine and share the world of hospitality, fine dining and wellness with the production of great wines. Together with his son Benedetto and the oenologist and agronomist Stefano Chioccioli, he created a modern and dynamic company. The philosophy is to produce wines that are mirror and expression of the land, but also able to reinterpret it during the seasons using new techniques. Always with the utmost attention to the quality and genuineness of the products.

Domus Artium brings together a collective of musicians, artists,  dancers,  chefs, curators and thinkers to collaborate with arts patrons in Rome for a series of events and performances in their homes and palaces.
